Position Overview:


As a Field Operations Engineer at CBRE, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of facilities through preventive maintenance and timely repairs of various systems, equipment, and infrastructure.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Supervise maintenance and repair activities across mechanical, plumbing, structural, and life safety systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.


2. Assess work orders, estimate necessary time and materials for repairs, and maintain an inventory of essential supplies and tools.


3. Develop and implement preventive maintenance strategies to extend the lifespan of building systems and machinery, while overseeing emergency repairs as required.


4. Conduct thorough inspections of building systems, including HVAC and fire safety, to confirm operational efficiency and adherence to design specifications.


5. Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and safety directives in relation to building operations.


6. Operate company vehicles responsibly while executing daily tasks.


7. Utilize advanced knowledge of standard practices and procedures to tackle complex challenges and deliver innovative solutions.


8. Mentor team members by sharing expertise and fostering a collaborative environment.


9. Influence customer satisfaction and operational effectiveness within your team and across related departments.


Qualifications:


1. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent trade school certification with 4-5 years of relevant experience. A combination of education and experience may be considered.


2. Universal CFC certification and a valid driver's license are mandatory. Previous supervisory experience is preferred.


3. Physical capability to perform tasks such as lifting heavy loads (up to 50 lbs), climbing, and standing for extended periods.


4. Strong analytical skills to make informed decisions based on diverse information sources.


5. Openness to exploring new approaches to existing challenges.


6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.


7. Excellent organizational skills coupled with a proactive mindset.
