The Operations Strategy Analyst serves as an innovative leader with a profound understanding of operations and warehouse management within a manufacturing context. This role involves leveraging that expertise to implement solutions that align with business needs in a manufacturing setting.

We seek a proactive team member with exceptional leadership skills and the ability to cultivate strong relationships. The ideal candidate will adeptly translate organizational requirements into strategic opportunities while considering the implications for a growing global organization. Responsibilities encompass thorough assessments of business challenges, evaluating emerging technologies, and establishing functional standards. This individual will oversee project planning and execution, ensuring alignment with company objectives, best practices, software compliance, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comprehension of discrete manufacturing, quality control management, and warehouse management system processes.
  • Awareness of industry best practices regarding technology concepts and architectural patterns.
  • Act as a liaison between vendors and service providers for the technical team to select services and products that fulfill company requirements.
  • Establish and sustain effective communication systems throughout the organization.
  • Determine project timelines and manage resource allocation to meet project goals.
  • Translate technical terminology into comprehensible language for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with user communities and IT professionals to develop consensus and standards that are scalable and adaptable to a dynamic business environment.
  • Adhere to audit requirements and implement change management best practices.
  • Stay informed about evolving technologies and apply them to future strategic goals.
  • Deliver solutions that prioritize industry-leading security and efficiency, aligning with the Enterprise Agenda.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT Technical, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in Operations and Warehousing.
  • 10+ years of experience in a large, multi-regional corporate environment.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly the Microsoft D365 platform.
  • Experience in implementing cloud solutions is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer support focus.
  • Proven track record of meeting commitments with the highest ethical standards.
  • Exemplary organizational and time management skills, coupled with a sense of urgency.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel locally between division facilities as needed.
  • Occasional travel to manufacturing facilities outside of Illinois may be required.
