Medical Laboratory Technician Parasitology 1st Shift Temporary Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician to join our Parasitology team on a temporary basis. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in assisting with the preparation and analysis of veterinary samples, ensuring the highest level of accuracy and quality in our diagnostic testing.
Responsibilities- Assist with the preparation of veterinary samples for testing, including sorting, tagging, and preparing samples for analysis.
- Operate laboratory equipment, including microscopes and analyzers, to analyze samples and prepare results for reporting.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of sample analysis and results.
- Collaborate with other laboratory staff to ensure efficient and effective sample processing and analysis.
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure the highest level of accuracy and quality in our diagnostic testing.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a life science or related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in a veterinary or medical laboratory.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and detailed records.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
