Join our team as a Maintenance Technician: Electrical and Hydraulic Expert at Coldwater Sintered Metal Products. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facility's electrical and hydraulic systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical and hydraulic equipment
  • Ensure all equipment is in safe working condition
  • Responsible for proper care of equipment and tools
  • Responsible for cold startup of facilities and equipment
  • Responsible for cleanliness of work area and equipment
  • Use all safety aids and devices, reporting any abnormal conditions to the supervisor
  • Participate in corrective and preventative actions and continuous improvement projects
  • Operate fork lift trucks as required
  • Perform setup on presses as required
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and hydraulics
  • Ability to use calipers/micrometers
  • Knowledge of Electrical Schematics
  • Knowledge of hydraulic drawings
  • Ability to recognize and respond to unsafe working conditions
  • Knowledge of Company policies (will train)
  • Knowledge of company quality policy (will train)
  • Knowledge of applicable work instructions (will train)
  • Other duties as assigned by General Manager
