Job Summary

The Service Coordinator I - CDA / ANGELS Workforce Program is responsible for managing and supervising the compliance of training areas of Early Childhood in accordance with Minimum Standards, Early Head Start and Head Start Program Performance Standards and Guidelines. This role ensures that services provided are in alignment with the Social Determinants of Health through a trauma-informed lens as defined by the agency. Key responsibilities include recruiting and completing the intake process with service participants, providing training and guidance, and maintaining good relationships with partners and stakeholders.

Essential Performance Requirements

Required Competencies/Skills:

  • Legal and Regulatory Application and Assessment: Ability to understand and explain regulatory and administrative environments.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to facilitate groups, speak and write clearly, and prepare business presentations.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work cooperatively with others as part of a team or group.
  • Accountability: Ability to consider business, demographic, ethno-cultural, political, and regulatory implications of decisions.
  • Healthcare and Human Services Environments: Ability to explain issues and advancements in the healthcare and human services industries.

Qualifications

To perform this job satisfactorily, an individual must have an Associate's degree and four years of experience or a High school diploma/GED and eight years of experience in education, health, social work, or other related human service fields. Experience in working in a collaborative environment, building organizational and stakeholder relationships, and planning is also required. Previous direct services leadership experience is preferred, and fluency in English and Spanish is desirable.
