**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Dietary Manager/Registered Dietician to join our team at Symphony Palos Park. As a key member of our dietary services team, you will be responsible for coordinating the daily dietetic functions of our food service program to ensure that all guests receive a nourishing, palatable, and well-balanced diet that meets their daily nutritional and special dietary needs.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Coordinate all clinical/dietetic service under the direction of a Registered Dietician
  • Monitor and direct inservice dietary staff
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards in the dietary services department
  • Perform and chart the initial guest assessment and quarterly summary
  • Attend and participate in guest care conferences
  • Ensure that nutritionally adequate diets are served
  • Obtain and update guest food preferences
  • Monitor food delivery for correct temperatures, diet to meet menu, and accuracy of regular and therapeutic trays
  • Assist the chef with implementing and monitoring the QA program

**Requirements:**

  • Education/Experience: Holds an Associate's Degree in Dietetics or is a Certified Dietary Manager or a Registered Dietician
  • Personal Characteristics: Pleasant personality and demeanor, trustworthiness, loyalty, fairness, honesty, and reliability
