Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Staffing
    • Develop and implement organizational structures, systems, and staffing plans to achieve clinic goals and objectives.
    • Ensure timely and resource-efficient responses to clinic needs.
    • Oversee the supervisory team to ensure effective leadership and team management.
    • Maintain functional knowledge of support staff responsibilities and coordinate with the Chief Medical Officer to ensure maximum effectiveness.
    • Initiate coaching, disciplinary action, and performance improvement planning to address policy violations and poor behavior or performance.
  • Operations and Finance
    • Develop, implement, and monitor adherence to written protocols and procedures pertaining to clinic operations.
    • Manage all aspects of clinic operations, controlling labor costs and clinic expenses.
    • Oversee materials management, ordering medications, equipment, and other materials needed for smooth clinic operations.
    • Analyze reports, prepare summaries, and develop plans for improvement of financial results, clinic productivity, and operational benchmarks.
    • Oversee supporting vendor contracts and participate in negotiating new ones as necessary.
  • Education, Experience, and Qualifications
    • Knowledge of Urgent Care and Primary Care clinic operations and previous leadership experience in healthcare.
    • Working knowledge of management software programs, including Teams, Slack, Microsoft, Google Spreadsheets, and Paylocity Payroll.
    • Ability to handle multiple and disparate issues simultaneously.
    • Understanding of Value-Based Care through the ACO REACH initiatives.
    • Knowledge and skills in Change Management.
  • Interpersonal Skills
    • Oral communication: speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations.
    • Written communication: writes clearly and informatively.

    Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare management, with a focus on Urgent Care and Primary Care operations.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and efficiency.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
