Cybersecurity Director Job Summary

The Cybersecurity Director at Atlantis Bahamas is responsible for overseeing all aspects of cybersecurity, including IT data privacy, risk management, resiliency, compliance, governance, and security awareness training. This role requires a strong leader who can drive the cybersecurity program to ensure the company's posture aligns with its business strategy and framework.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of information security professionals, including hiring, training, and performance reviews.
  • Implement and maintain a comprehensive security and IT risk management program.
  • Coordinate and lead efforts to build a culture of compliance around information security and compliance.
  • Assist with disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
  • Lead security services such as vulnerability assessment, threat monitoring, and incident response.
  • Conduct threat assessments and coordinate responsive actions for disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on information security standards, best practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Help coordinate organizational efforts in response to security events.
  • Develop and maintain information security policies in accordance with best practices and policy lifecycle management.
  • Maintain appropriate security measures to guard against unauthorized access to electronically stored and/or transmitted data.
  • Manage technology-related risks for internal systems and third parties.
  • Oversee operational resiliency programs related to technology interactions.
  • Ensure compliance with information security policies and practices.
  • Stay current with industry and regulatory trends and developments for enterprise technology.
  • Provide KPIs, metrics, dashboards, and related reporting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in IT security, infrastructure, and operations.
  • Certification in CISSP or CISM.
  • Strong background in information technology finance and ERP implementations.
  • Prior experience coordinating within operating divisions.
  • Strong knowledge of personnel practices, leadership, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs.
