Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare the surgical suite and maintain a sterile field to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during procedures, handling instruments and equipment with precision and care.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the medical team.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination during surgical procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.

Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent in Surgical Technology or a related field.
  • Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with the ability to obtain Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist, with a strong understanding of surgical procedures and protocols.
