This role involves receiving and ensuring the fulfillment of physician directives while actively contributing to patient and customer satisfaction. The technologist also ensures that all necessary equipment is accounted for at the start and conclusion of each shift.

Key Responsibilities
The Surgical Technologist is tasked with:
- Preparing the surgical environment, managing instruments during procedures, maintaining a sterile field, and responding to evolving conditions throughout surgical operations.
- Staying informed about surgical techniques and principles relevant to various procedures.
- Potentially serving as a mentor for new team members.

Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Healthcare experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from either the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross is required within 90 days of employment.
Work Environment
This position is full-time, with a daytime schedule, typically from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and may require working on variable weekends.
