Position Title: Event Coordination Associate (Temporary)
Classification: Non-Exempt
Remote Work: No

Reports To: Events Manager and Events Lead
Work Schedule: Varies

Key Responsibilities:
Event staff play a vital role in the logistical management of both corporate and public events. Primary duties include:
  • Preparing venues and arranging seating and stages for events
  • Assisting as ushers and managing cash registers

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a high school diploma or GED. Previous customer service experience is essential, ideally with a background in event support.

Language Proficiency:
Ability to clearly and effectively communicate information and respond to inquiries from the public and colleagues.

Work Schedule:
  • 10-hour shifts
  • 12-hour shifts
  • 8-hour shifts
  • Weekend availability required
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands outlined here are representative of those that an employee must meet to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. Employees are frequently required to stand for extended periods, walk, and climb stairs comfortably. The ability to lift supplies weighing up to 50 pounds is occasionally necessary. Regular communication is also a key aspect of this position.
