Job Summary and Qualifications:
The Registered Nurse demonstrates advanced knowledge and skills while understanding the unique aspects of the population served in patient care.

Each service requires specialized skills, and care delivery is based on the physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety, and learning needs of individual patients.

The Registered Nurse may rotate to areas outside of their assigned service area and will perform only those duties for which they have demonstrated competency.

The Registered Nurse performs delegated duties consistent with the scope of practice and operates within the philosophy and overall plan of care delivery at Swedish Medical Center.

Qualifications:
- Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse or current active multistate nursing licensure.
- Current BLS Certification through AHA or ARC.
- Graduate of a certified School of Nursing.
- Minimum one year of OR nursing experience preferred.
- Verification of competencies in relevant procedures required.

- Deep brain stimulation (DBS) for debilitating neurological conditions such as movement disorders.

- Functional surgery for chronic craniofacial, spinal, and extremity pain disorders.
