Job Responsibilities and Qualifications

As a Neuro Service Line Lead Operating Room RN, you will:

  • Oversee the daily operations and management of the Neuro service line.
  • Play a crucial role in coordinating services as part of a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with various healthcare disciplines to ensure the successful implementation of the patient's care plan in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act.
  • Manage operational responsibilities including staff education, outcome management, physician outreach, customer service, revenue integrity, and capital budgeting.
  • Be available for on-call duties as required by the department and perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado or an active multistate Registered Nurse license.
  • Current BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Operating Room is preferred. Previous experience in specialty service line coordination and development is also preferred.

  • Deep brain stimulation (DBS) for severe neurological conditions such as movement disorders.

  • Functional surgery for chronic craniofacial, spinal, and extremity pain disorders.
  • Stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) for treating intracranial tumors, functional disorders, vascular malformations, and neurological disorders.
