Overview
The DePaul Group is seeking a part-time Nutritional Support Specialist to contribute to our dietary department. This role involves collaborating with the Dietary Director and culinary staff to ensure the efficient operation of food service functions. The compensation for this position ranges from $20 to $20.30 per hour.

Key Responsibilities
- Responds promptly and courteously to residents' requests, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Handles food service items according to health and safety standards, including sanitization of dining ware.
- Maintains cleanliness and organization in all work and storage areas.
- Oversees proper waste disposal and the maintenance of sanitary waste receptacles.
- Conducts sweeping and mopping of dining and work areas.
- Performs dishwashing and cleaning of kitchen utensils and equipment.
- Sets up and breaks down food service stations before and after meals.
- Ensures availability of food service utensils for each meal.
- Maintains cleanliness in all service areas, including beverage and dishwashing stations.
- Assists culinary staff in meal preparation and serving.
- Secures dietary items to prevent loss or theft.
- Adheres to food safety protocols for food storage and disposal.
- Participates in staff meetings and training sessions.
- Follows safety regulations for self and others, wearing appropriate attire.
- Performs additional duties as required for effective program operation.
Qualifications
Education / Experience: Previous experience in high-volume food service is preferred. Candidates must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
Work Environment
This position typically operates from 10 AM to 6:30 PM, totaling 16 hours per week.
