About the Opportunity

The successful candidate will have prior e-communications monitoring experience in the financial services industry. They will work closely with the e-Communications Monitoring Manager and other Market Surveillance team members to develop an e-communications surveillance program, create lexicons, establish rules/parameters, monitor alerts, and implement policies and procedures for the function.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, process-driven environment and be able to adapt and adjust plans on-the-fly. They must also have strong project management skills and a willingness to roll up their sleeves to get the job done.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and enhance global e-communications surveillance programs, controls, and operational processes to prevent and detect regulatory risk and violations of company policy.
  • Aid the E-Communications Surveillance team in conducting day-to-day surveillance on the company's various communication channels.
  • Develop and maintain regular MI reporting on E-communication risks, updates, and status.
  • Review alerts and investigate cases to an appropriate resolution.
Requirements
  • BA/BS in a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in e-communications surveillance or a closely related field.
  • Proficiency with financial markets, e-communications monitoring requirements, etc.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on teamwork, initiative, and integrity.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team dependent on tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, set goals, and develop systems for achieving those goals.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.
  • Comfort with working in a fast-paced environment, managing projects, solving problems, and handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
