Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership- Lead and Mentor a High-Performing Team: Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence among a team of HW/SW engineers.
- Develop and Execute Engineering Strategy: Align with the company's overall business objectives and report progress directly to the CTO.
- Drive Architecture and Design: Ensure that PCIe/CXL solutions meet the highest standards of performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Oversee Product Lifecycle: From concept through design, validation, and scale production.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Define product requirements and ensure successful product launches.
- Ensure Engineering Team Readiness: Equip the team with the latest tools, processes, and technologies to accelerate development timelines.
- Provide Regular Updates: Report on the status of engineering projects, key milestones, and potential risks to the CTO.
- Stay at the Forefront of Industry Trends: Identify and evaluate new technologies, methodologies, and partnerships that can enhance our PCIe/CXL offerings.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Increase efficiency and reduce time-to-market through process improvements.
- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering (PhD preferred)
- 15+ Years of Experience in Semiconductor Engineering with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Proven Track Record of Leadership: Successfully develop and launch complex, high-performance PCIe/CXL or other advanced connectivity solutions.
- Deep Technical Expertise: In PCIe/CXL architecture, protocols, and applications for data centers and hyperscalers.
- Strong Leadership and Team Management Skills: Focused on mentoring and developing engineering talent.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Strategic Thinking and Problem-Solving Abilities: Focused on driving innovation and delivering results.
- In-Depth Understanding of Data Center and Hyperscale Computing Markets: Trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Familiarity with Industry Standards and Regulatory Requirements: Related to PCIe/CXL and high-speed connectivity.
- Involvement in Industry Consortiums: Such as CXL/PCIe-sig is a plus.
