JOB SUMMARY

This position is integral to the Financial Planning & Analysis team, focusing on the operational support for Inspire Brands' restaurant operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver ongoing support for restaurant management by addressing inquiries related to brand Profit & Loss statements and aiding in the development of reporting frameworks.
  • Conduct variance analyses, offering insights into primary drivers, essential observations, and practical recommendations for operational enhancement.
  • Assist in the annual budgeting process and regular forecasting activities.
  • Collaborate with restaurant operations to effectively gather and manage their financial requests, educate them on financial protocols, and provide hands-on assistance in resolving issues with both internal and external partners.
  • Act as a genuine business ally, responding to ad hoc inquiries and ensuring the success of operational teams.
  • Engage with various internal departments, including accounting, corporate finance, lease management, construction, and restaurant operations.
  • Continuously identify and suggest improvements to streamline daily operations, enabling Business Partners to achieve greater success.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline is mandatory.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or a comparable role is preferred.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Exceptional analytical and communication abilities.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Capability to prioritize time and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated problem solver with strong business insight and the capacity to foresee challenges and devise innovative solutions.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools and presentation software, such as Tableau and Power BI, is advantageous.
  • Experience with Enterprise Planning and Reporting tools like Hyperion, ePBCS, and SmartView is preferred.
