Financial Planner (CFP Required) Job Description

At finoBlue, we are seeking an experienced Financial Planner with a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation to join our team. This is a non-producing role, focusing on supporting the lead Private Wealth Advisor in creating, testing, and executing financial plans for high-net-worth families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and update comprehensive financial plans using MoneyGuide Pro.
  • Collaborate with the lead advisor on portfolio strategy and execution.
  • Meet with clients to gather data, review financial strategies, and provide ongoing plan updates.
  • Ensure client follow-up and communication are consistent and professional.
  • Work cross-functionally with other team members to develop cohesive financial planning strategies.
  • Provide support for exit planning, retirement, and inheritance scenarios for clients with $2.5 million or more in assets.
Requirements:
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation is required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial planning or wealth management.
  • Excellent understanding of and proficiency in using technology.
  • Strong understanding of investment strategy and portfolio management.
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently within a focused, driven, and professional team.
  • Exceptional client communication and follow-up skills.
  • High levels of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple client needs.
