Residential properties are among the largest contributors to carbon emissions, which can be substantially mitigated through the adoption of heat pumps. However, the current rate of adoption is hindered by high costs and complexities in the retrofitting process. Addressing only one aspect of the value chain will not significantly impact overall adoption. Widespread acceptance will occur when transitioning becomes an effortless choice for homeowners. Therefore, Jetson is creating the first fully vertically integrated home electrification enterprise, simplifying, clarifying, and making heat pump installations affordable for all.
Position Overview:We are in search of highly motivated and passionate Electricians eager to join an innovative company committed to combating climate change by transforming the residential HVAC sector. As part of our inaugural installation team, we seek individuals with extensive residential installation experience to assist in developing processes and protocols that will be implemented nationwide. Your role will involve collaborating with a team to remove gas heating systems, install electric heat pump units, and work alongside engineering teams to enhance product functionality and streamline installation procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install necessary electrical systems to facilitate heat pump installations
- Calculate electrical load requirements
- Upgrade main electrical panels as required
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams
- Troubleshoot electrical problems and execute repairs
- Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical systems
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient project completion
- Adhere to electrical codes and safety regulations
- Test electrical systems for operational efficiency
- Master electrician certification in the Denver area
- Proficient in modern technologies such as SMART panels, splitters, and sub-panels for optimizing service upgrades
- Thorough understanding of contemporary electrical building codes
- Strong familiarity with power and hand tools utilized in electrical work
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and diagrams
- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities
- Meticulous attention to detail and precision in work
- Physical endurance to perform manual tasks
- Valid driver's license
Employment Type: Full-time
Compensation: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
