Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct balance sheet reconciliations, including cash, fixed assets, payroll, and various accruals.
  • Review general ledger entries for accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll departments as necessary.
  • Prepare documentation for established processes and procedures.
  • Calculate taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring adherence to all payment and reporting requirements.
  • Assist in budget formulation and conduct monthly budget variance analyses.
  • Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, and financial commitments.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in Accounting or Finance is essential.
  • An Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles.
  • Familiarity with accounting/ERP software such as NetSuite, Intacct, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics Suite, or QuickBooks.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • A strong work ethic and a positive, proactive attitude.
