Electronics Systems Engineer

Job Summary:
Northrop Grumman is seeking an Electrical Engineer - Avionics to join our team in Melbourne, FL. As an Electrical Engineer - Avionics, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, configuring, testing, documenting, and troubleshooting avionics equipment subsystems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop avionics equipment subsystems
- Analyze and troubleshoot avionics systems
- Collaborate with engineers and program stakeholders to integrate avionics subsystems and components
- Develop and maintain technical documentation
- Perform informal and formal testing of subsystem requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering, or a Master's degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university and 0 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering, or a Ph.D. in STEM and 0 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering
- Active DoD Secret clearance that is in-scope
- Demonstrated experience with aircraft cockpit avionics
- Demonstrated experience with Control Account Management (CAM) and a fundamental understanding of project cost, schedule, and risk management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain DoD TOP SECRET security clearance
- Experience with system modeling and requirements management tools
- Experience with integration of COTS/MOTS electronics into airborne military systems
- Experience with supplier team management, working on a multidisciplinary team, and/or writing and evaluating technical proposals
- Certified Control Account Manager (CCAM) certification

Salary Range: $75,300 - $112,900
