Job Title: Electronics Engineer Job Summary: Northrop Grumman is seeking an Electronics Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in defining the future. This position will be located in Melbourne, FL. As an Electronics Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, configuring, testing, documenting, and troubleshooting avionics equipment subsystems. You will collaborate with engineers and program stakeholders to integrate avionics subsystems and components to meet platform mission objectives. Responsibilities: * Design, analyze, configure, test, document, and troubleshoot avionics equipment subsystems * Collaborate with engineers and program stakeholders to integrate avionics subsystems and components to meet platform mission objectives * Technical management of program strategic partners and suppliers, including acceptance, qualification, system integration, and test support * Requirements development, analysis, maturation, and implementation * Perform informal and formal testing of subsystem requirements Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university AND 2 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering; OR a Master's degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university AND 0 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering; or a Ph.D. in STEM AND 0 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering * Must have an active DoD Secret clearance that is in-scope (granted or renewed within the last 6 years) * Demonstrated experience with aircraft cockpit avionics such as flight displays, flight computers, control systems, data storage, etc. * Demonstrated experience with Control Account Management (CAM) and a fundamental understanding of project cost, schedule, and risk management Preferred Qualifications: * Ability to obtain DoD TOP SECRET security clearance * Experience with system modeling and requirements management tools (Cameo, DOORS, Rhapsody, etc.), developing/maturing requirements, and tracing requirements through various levels * Experience with integration of COTS/MOTS electronics into airborne military systems * Experience with supplier team management, working on a multidisciplinary team, and/or writing and evaluating technical proposals * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with all levels of employees, management, and customer representatives * Certified Control Account Manager (CCAM) certification Benefits: * Salary Range: $75,300 - $112,900 * Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay * Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results * Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives * Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company-paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business Equal Employment Opportunity: Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
