Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

UCHealth is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Longs Peak Hospital in Longmont, CO.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Ultrasound Technologist to perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including adult echocardiography and vascular studies. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in ultrasound principles and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Prepare patients for exams, explaining procedures and answering questions.
- Operate ultrasound equipment, adjusting settings as needed to optimize image quality.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, exam results, and equipment maintenance.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound program.
- ~1 adult echo and 1 vascular credential from ARDMS.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
