UCHealth (Colorado) is seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Longmont, Colorado.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cardiac Sonographer to provide top-notch patient care and contribute to our multidisciplinary team. As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures, interpreting images, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Perform high-quality diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures, including echocardiograms and stress tests.
- Interpret images and provide accurate diagnoses to healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with cardiologists, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans.
- Provide patient education and support to ensure optimal care and outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques.
- Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program.
- Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and any relevant life support certification.
- State licensure if required by law.
