Job Title: Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Ob/Gyn

UCHealth (Colorado) is seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team in Longmont, Colorado.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to perform high-quality ultrasound examinations in our Ob/Gyn department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sonography and excellent communication skills to work effectively with patients and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
  • Review patient history, physician's orders, and schedule exams as needed.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice.
  • Monitor patient condition continually and report/respond to changes in status as appropriate.
  • Position patients and perform imaging procedures.
  • Analyze results and identify issues with the quality of imaging results.
  • Take appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including re-positioning patients and repeating procedures.
  • Enter, transmit, and report scan results.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program.
  • Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Vascular Technologist (RVT), or Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or certified in Sonography (S) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • State licensure if required by law.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
