Position Overview:
Under the guidance of the Director of Outpatient Clinics, the Clinic Manager is responsible for the implementation, supervision, and monitoring of clinical services within the agency's outpatient facility.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage the daily clinical operations of the outpatient clinic.
2. Address issues related to access, triage, scheduling, referrals, and staff coverage.
3. Provide consultation and guidance to operational staff on clinical best practices.
4. Oversee clinical and case management staff, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
5. Maintain administrative oversight for all clinic employees.
6. Ensure that clinical services are adequate, appropriate, and accessible to clients.
7. Stay informed about regulations and guidelines governing outpatient services, including:
- DBHDD Utilization Guidelines
- CARF standards
- ASO requirements
- DBHDD contractual obligations
- DATEP/HFR regulations
- Advantage policies and procedures
8. Collaborate with the Director of Outpatient Clinics to identify and resolve barriers to service access.
9. Monitor the intake of new clients and ensure sufficient availability of treatment options based on assessed needs.
10. Conduct individual, family, and group assessments as necessary.
11. Assist in implementing and monitoring outpatient scheduling practices.
12. Collect data on service access, treatment outcomes, and client experiences as directed.
13. Participate in the hiring, training, evaluation, and, when necessary, disciplinary actions for clinic staff.
14. Clearly communicate job expectations and conduct regular meetings with direct reports.
15. Identify training needs and coordinate educational opportunities for staff.
16. Manage payroll for direct reports and assigned prescribers.
17. Monitor clinic financial performance and provide recommendations for budget adherence.
18. Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with referral sources and community partners.
19. Evaluate the effectiveness of services provided and ensure timely review of referrals.
20. Attend relevant conferences and training to enhance best practices and community partnerships.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Master's degree in a related field from an accredited institution and two years of management experience in a human service delivery program, or
- Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited institution and five years of experience, including three years in a management role, or
- Related certification with two years of management experience in a human service delivery program, or
- Three years of experience at a lower management level or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Fully licensed in the state of Georgia.
- A minimum of two years of supervisory experience.
- Commitment to working with individuals with severe and persistent mental health issues.
- Ability to respond to crises within 45 minutes and be available on-call as needed.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in crisis intervention and various therapeutic techniques.
- Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate documentation practices.
- Ability to work independently while meeting established benchmarks.
