Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical evaluations of patients, reviewing their medical histories and interpreting diagnostic tests to provide effective treatment.

• Perform preventive health screenings tailored to the patient's age, history, and individual needs to promote proactive healthcare.

• Educate patients and their families regarding specialty medical conditions, treatment options, and necessary follow-up care.

• Maintain accurate records of all patient interactions to ensure a thorough medical history is documented across various offices.

• Execute office-based specialty medical procedures in line with departmental protocols and clinical responsibilities.

• Identify opportunities for enhancing outpatient specialty care through assessment, problem-solving, and evaluation of clinical and systemic challenges.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications
Education:
• Required: Master’s Degree

Experience:
• Required: None
• Preferred: 3+ years

Licensure/Certification:
• Required:
• BLS (CPR) certification from American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
• Valid North Carolina RN and Nurse Midwife or NP license OR NC PA license
• Board Certification within one year of hire from either the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) for PAs or the American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the National Certification Corporation (NCC) for NPs or the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB).
