Job Description:
Machine Operator Responsibilities:

Ensures that production standards are met by operating packaging machinery at specified efficiency levels.

Anticipates production needs by reviewing production schedules and preparing necessary materials for upcoming orders.

Maintains product specifications by monitoring operations, identifying malfunctions, and inspecting products for quality control.

Conducts weight checks on packing lines to ensure compliance with product specifications.

Minimizes downtime by adhering to specified standards and completing machine changeovers efficiently.

Addresses production issues by adjusting processes as needed and collaborating with supervisors and team members.

Follows good manufacturing practices by maintaining cleanliness and organization in the work area.

Performs cleaning duties, including sweeping floors and restocking supplies, as well as sanitation tasks on a rotating schedule.

Ensures compliance with all employment policies, safety procedures, and training requirements to foster a positive work environment.

Material Handler Responsibilities:

Receives production orders and organizes the delivery of materials from the warehouse to the production line to meet operational standards.

Manages unused materials and may transport products between warehouses as necessary.

Ensures accuracy in fulfilling customer orders by carefully reading production orders and adhering to special instructions.

Prepares products for shipment by securing them appropriately and transporting them to designated areas.

Maintains material handling equipment through regular inspections and minor repairs.

Lead Packer Responsibilities:

Ensures all production order requirements are met by performing quality inspections and maintaining packaging standards.

Conducts visual inspections based on established quality criteria for finished products.

Records all necessary documentation accurately and ensures proper labeling of products.

Facilitates communication during shift changes and ensures packing stations are adequately staffed and equipped.

Additional Tasks:
Contributes to team efforts by performing other assigned duties as needed.

Maintains cooperative relationships with coworkers and management by communicating necessary information and participating in problem-solving.

Follows and enforces standards for food safety and quality production, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills:

High School diploma or equivalent.

Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Mechanical aptitude for operating equipment and using hand tools.

Basic math skills and ability to read production orders.

Proficient in data entry and computer usage.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
