Crisis Management and Emergency Response Analyst

Position Overview

SAIC is in search of a Crisis Management and Emergency Services Analyst to provide essential support for critical operations. This role is integral to the functioning of the Cyber Command's Joint Operations Center, ensuring seamless coordination with operational teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Automated Message Handling System (AMHS) to disseminate and direct mission-critical orders and situational awareness communications.
  • Assist in the development of operational orders as necessary.
  • Continuously oversee and utilize the Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN) and Enhanced Command Console (ECC) for effective operations.
  • Facilitate JOC Data Transfer Agent (DTA) requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to monitor the operational status of information technology systems and address any technical issues.
  • Coordinate and conduct regular operational meetings via Skype and other conferencing tools.
  • Support the implementation of the Emergency Crisis Action Plan (ECAP) and adhere to Joint Chiefs of Staff Emergency Action Procedures (EAP).
  • Engage in all operational drills and training exercises.
  • Assist the Battle Captain in fulfilling operational responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree along with five years of experience in a relevant field, such as Cyberspace Analysis.
  • Additional experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • Possession of DOD 8140/DOD 8570 IAM Level II Certification, CSSP Incident Responder, or CSSP Infrastructure Support is required.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills are essential.
  • Proficient analytical and problem-solving abilities are necessary.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must hold an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
