Job Description

Position Overview:

This role is essential in supporting the operations of the USCYBERCOM Joint Operations Center (JOC) and involves daily collaboration with the Battle Watch team to fulfill operational needs. The position is crucial for maintaining continuous support for cyberspace operations throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Automated Message Handling System (AMHS) to disseminate and direct mission-critical orders and relevant situational awareness communications.
  • Assist in the development of operational orders as necessary.
  • Continuously oversee and utilize the Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN) and Enhanced Command Console (ECC) for the USCYBERCOM JOC.
  • Support JOC Data Transfer Agent (DTA) functions.
  • Work with the PICO team to monitor the operational status of JOC IT systems and liaise with support teams to address any issues.
  • Coordinate and facilitate battle rhythm and episodic video conferences.
  • Assist in executing USCYBERCOM's Emergency Crisis Action Plan (ECAP) and the Joint Chiefs of Staff Emergency Action Procedures (EAP).
  • Engage in all battle drills and training events for the battle watch staff.
  • Support the Battle Captain in fulfilling their responsibilities.

Work Schedule:

This position offers two available shifts:

  • Tuesday to Friday
  • Tuesday to Friday

Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with CI polygraph is mandatory.
  • A minimum of six years of experience in a role related to Cyberspace Analysis or a similar field.
  • High School Diploma is required.
  • Possession of DOD 8140/DOD 8570 IAM Level II Certification, CSSP Incident Responder, or CSSP Infrastructure Support is necessary.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills are essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are required.
