Position Overview

SAIC is in search of a Crisis, Contingency, and Emergency Support (CCES) Team Lead based in Fort Meade, Maryland. This role is integral to the support of the USCYBERCOM Joint Operations Center (JOC). The CCES Team Lead represents the highest level of authority within the CCES team, ensuring seamless operations, comprehensive training, and uniformity among all CCES personnel on duty. The individual in this position is responsible for overseeing the team's watch schedule and guaranteeing that all relevant documentation (such as instructional guides, standard operating procedures, and knowledge bases) is kept current and accessible. The CCES Team Lead also offers expertise, insights, and suggestions to the JOC leadership to facilitate operational enhancements and process optimization. This often necessitates collaboration with other support teams and staff elements beyond the JOC to maintain synchronization and collective effort. While the CCES Team Lead does not typically serve as a watch stander, they may occasionally fulfill this role as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and monitor the CCES watch schedule.
  • Ensure accountability for all CCES team members during their shifts.
  • Authorize time off for CCES personnel and confirm that responsibilities are adequately managed during absences.
  • Oversee CCES team activities and the production of deliverables.
  • Provide training and develop support documentation for the CCES team.
  • Participate in meetings pertinent to CCES or where CCES expertise is essential.
  • Coordinate initiatives with other teams and staff elements.
  • Fulfill all CCES watch stander duties as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical or business discipline from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Cyberspace Operations, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • Preferred certifications include DOD 8140/DOD 8570 IAM Level II, CSSP Incident Responder, or CSSP Infrastructure Support.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Clearance Requirements

  • An active TS/SCI with Poly clearance is mandatory.
  • US citizenship is required.
