Production Supervisor


UniFirst is in search of a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to become an integral part of our organization. In this role, you will play a vital role in overseeing the production team and ensuring optimal performance. Your responsibilities will include supervising plant operations in alignment with the directives of the Assistant Production Manager while adhering to company policies and objectives. We offer a standard 5-day work week, allowing for weekends off. We provide immediate openings and comprehensive on-the-job training. Compensation & Benefits:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and facilitate the production process flow.
  • Assist in the training of plant personnel.
  • Promote overall morale and safety within the facility.
  • Identify and report operational, manufacturing, and maintenance issues as they arise.
  • Support production data entry and review reports.
  • Assist in inventory management.
  • Collaborate with Production Management to address team partner concerns.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • A high school diploma or G.E.D equivalent is required.
  • A two-year degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience and/or training is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
  • Ability to identify problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Capability to lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
