Job Title: Test Automation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Automation Engineer to join our team at OnDek Solutions in Washington D.C. This role will involve working on-site and has the potential to transition to a hybrid work setup.

Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship or Green Card holder

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review technical design documents and provide timely feedback
  • Drive the adoption of best practices in design, build, test, and performance
  • Work with development teams to design, develop, and execute scripts for test cases
  • Support automated functional testing across multiple messaging protocols
  • Track and communicate task progress, status, and key performance metrics
  • Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams
  • Communicate effectively across multiple teams and personnel
  • Analyze data and application changes, and document their impact on performance and automation
  • Ensure test execution results meet defined test objectives
  • Configure testing and monitoring tools to meet project team requirements
  • Maintain technical expertise through self-education in computer sciences, test automation, and Quality Assurance
  • Interface with DevOps and Infrastructure teams regarding functional test environments
  • Timely and accurate communication of testing events, daily status, and test execution results
  • Successfully complete mandatory security awareness training
  • Design and create test conditions and scripts to address business and technical use cases

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, Business, or Public Administration)
  • Proficiency in backend programming languages, frameworks, and tools, including C#, .Net, and SQL or Oracle
  • At least 6 years of experience with test automation development using Selenium and JavaScript
  • Demonstrated functional test experience, including test analysis
