Job Overview:

Graham Technologies is seeking a skilled Automated Test Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software quality assurance team, you will work closely with the Appian development team and business analysts to design, develop, and execute automated test cases for Appian applications.

This is a remote position that requires excellent analytical skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Appian development team and business analysts to understand application requirements and functionality.
  • Develop test plans and strategies to ensure adequate testing of Appian applications.
  • Identify and prioritize test cases based on risk and impact.
  • Execute automated test cases and analyze the results to identify defects and issues.
  • Document and report defects, working closely with the development team to resolve them.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure alignment and effective communication.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to pass a government background check.
  • More than five (5) years of experience in software testing, including experience with automated testing.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Appian or other BPM platforms.
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
  • Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Fitnesse, Selenium, Junit).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to identify, document, and track defects effectively.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in testing and reporting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
