Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on ensuring the integrity and accuracy of web applications, APIs, and data systems through rigorous testing and validation processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute automated test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of web applications, mobile applications, APIs, and related data systems.
  • Design, build, and maintain automated testing frameworks and test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Appium, Postman, and Karate.
  • Conduct API testing, web and mobile application testing to ensure performance and reliability.
  • Write complex queries for data mining and extraction, and analyze the results to ensure data integrity across platforms.
  • Create comprehensive reports using reporting tools like PowerBI to visualize test results and data analysis, aiding in decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify system requirements and incorporate feedback into testing procedures.
  • Continuously update and refine testing methods to adapt to new technologies and frameworks.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of new features and systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2 or more years of experience in test automation and data testing.
  • Proven experience in automation testing with proficiency in any automation tool - Selenium, Playwright, Appium, Postman, and Karate.
  • Strong knowledge of API, SQL, and database management.
  • Experience in data analysis and reporting using PowerBI or similar tools.
