Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will be a proactive and driven individual, enthusiastic about delivering digital solutions within our Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) platforms. This role will focus on enhancing our MES systems to support our manufacturing facilities and aftermarket operations globally.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing, enhancing, and implementing software solutions within Nightwing's MES.
  • Creating back-end JAVA code and a custom Windows front-end application utilizing JAVA and SQL.
  • Troubleshooting issues related to MES and resolving systems integration challenges.
  • Engaging in the application life cycle management.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to architect and build system solutions using the latest technologies.
  • Documenting technical designs and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in data system design and development.
  • Strong expertise in JAVA, SQL, and related technologies.
  • Experience with MVC patterns, RESTful web services, and object-oriented programming.
  • Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, Maven, and Spring Boot.

Preferred Qualifications:

We value additional qualifications such as:

  • Certifications in SQL Server or Azure technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with modern JAVA frameworks.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Work Environment:

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule. Occasional travel may be required.
