Education Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Education Assistant to join our team at Marlborough Public Schools. As an Education Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special needs in a inclusive setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist students with special needs in academic, social, and behavioral development.
- Support students with test taking and administering standardized and non-standardized tests.
- Provide physical management and crisis intervention as needed.
- Collect data and report progress on students.
- Escort and supervise students to and from various school facilities.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and related service staff to establish a positive learning environment.
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
- Associate's Degree or completion of 48 undergraduate credits preferred.
- Bilingual preferred.
- Experience working with children in a school setting preferred.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds and work in indoor and outdoor settings.
