Position Overview

Job Title: Behavior Analyst Educator (BAE-1)

Location: Puzzle HR

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Compensation: $50,000

Role Summary: Puzzle HR is in search of a committed Behavior Analyst Educator (BAE-1) to become part of our dedicated team. Under the guidance of the Lead Special Education Instructor, the BAE-1 will apply the principles of Behavior Analysis to instruct students and assist them in reaching their objectives as outlined in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), Behavior Management Guidelines (BMGs), and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). Furthermore, the BAE-1 will take on the role of Case Manager for one to two students, aiding in the development and adjustment of educational materials and utilizing them to impart new skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; preferably in Education or Behavior Analysis
  • Experience with children with autism and related disabilities is preferred
  • Valid driver's license is necessary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety and supervision of assigned students
  • Adhere to HIPAA and FERPA regulations
  • Exhibit proficiency in foundational Behavior Analysis skills as specified in the 90-Day Checklist
  • Transport students and staff in Puzzle HR vehicles as required (during operational hours only)
  • Maintain the program documentation for assigned students according to guidelines
  • Update program documentation with new IEPs within a specified timeframe
  • Revise Behavior Management Guidelines as directed by the Educational Behavior Support Coordinator (EBSC)
  • Keep electronic files for assigned students updated as per guidelines
  • Prepare Student Day packets following established protocols
  • Implement curriculum and material adjustments promptly following meetings
  • Monitor student progress and promptly notify the Lead Special Education Instructor of necessary changes
  • Provide updates to staff regarding student progress and program modifications
  • Assist the Lead Special Education Instructor in the development and adaptation of curricula
  • Communicate any parent concerns immediately to the Lead Special Education Instructor and/or EBSC
