About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Plant Process Safety Engineer to join our team in Singapore. As a key member of our Process Safety team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of our chemical manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate compliance efforts with government bodies, including the Ministry of Manpower, Occupational Safety and Health Division, and National Environmental Agency.
  • Provide regulatory interpretation and technical support on Process Safety matters.
  • Collect and maintain Process Safety Information (PSI) indicators with plant and construction personnel.
  • Establish a culture of process safety program ownership through employee participation and coaching.
  • Oversee the Maintenance of Operational Control (MOC) process, including auditing MOC and Pre-Start Up Safety Review (PSSR) records and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in process safety, preferably in a chemical manufacturing or plant environment.
  • Hands-on experience with local regulators, such as MHD, MOM, NEA, and SCDF.
  • Experience with safety case regime and Process Safety Management System (PSM).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to effectively interact with site management, field operations personnel, and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, team building, and influencing skills.
