Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate and/or scribe Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs) and Dust Hazard Analyses for our clients.
  • Work closely with our Process Safety & Risk Management Group to audit clients' PSM Programs and identify gaps and areas for improvement.
  • Assure Process Safety of our projects throughout the entire life cycle, from technical studies to constructability reviews.
  • Mentor and support the development of process safety expertise in earlier-career engineering staff.
  • Manage budget and schedule performance on process safety tasks of projects.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in process safety engineering.
  • Experience with facilitation and scribing of PHAs, PHA Facilitation Software, and Safety Integrity Level (SIL) calculations.
  • Experience with auditing the requirements for PSM processes, combustible dust standards, and DHA facilitation.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and valid driver's license.

  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Motivated to support the enhancement of the safety culture of our design and engineering staff.
  • Ability to work effectively in teams and independently, in an office environment, virtually, or at a project site.
  • Willingness to challenge the normalization of deviance and desire to continue to learn and grow.
