Responsibilities

The Professional Liability Claims Specialist position involves conducting thorough investigations and managing Professional Liability and Errors & Omissions claims. Key responsibilities include:

  • Investigating losses and identifying coverage issues
  • Reviewing evidence, reports, and medical records
  • Assessing damages and determining reserves
  • Processing payments
  • Collecting statements from insured individuals and witnesses
  • Participating in mediation sessions

Qualifications

  • Active attorney license with a minimum of five years in professional liability
  • Prior experience in adjusting Professional Liability and Errors & Omissions claims
  • Preference for candidates with Legal Malpractice experience
  • Active Adjuster license is advantageous
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and computer skills
  • Effective time management and prioritization capabilities
