This role is pivotal in delivering financial oversight, facilitating business transformation, and providing financial support for the refining operations under the guidance of the FP&A Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Exhibit a strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Develop and manage cost reporting utilizing SAP and Analysis for Office.
  • Conduct thorough routine analyses during month-end closures and communicate findings to management.
  • Support the creation of forecasts, outlooks, and long-range plans.
  • Gain an understanding of refinery operations and maintain forecasting drivers by collaborating with maintenance and operations leadership.
  • Perform margin assessments and present charge and yield results to management.
  • Contribute to Business Transformation initiatives as directed by the business unit and FP&A.
  • Assist with Solomon Reporting tasks.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with established work procedures and processes.
  • Leverage SAP, AFO, FRAP, DRS, Power BI, and other analytical tools to identify cost-saving opportunities, enhance margins, and rectify discrepancies.
  • Support audit inquiries as needed.
  • Execute ad-hoc analysis requests from business units and headquarters.
Required Qualifications:
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without restrictions.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook).
  • Strong analytical capabilities with intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Capable of thriving under pressure and meeting deadlines.
  • Professional interaction with all organizational levels.
  • Willingness to work extended hours during critical periods.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of all sensitive information.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment effectively.

  • Minimum of one year experience in auditing, accounting, or finance roles.
