Reconciliation Analyst

The Reconciliation Analyst is responsible for performing general ledger and bank-controlled deposit account reconciliations, identifying and resolving any discrepancies, and collaborating with bank personnel to resolve issues.
Key Responsibilities- Perform complex operational account reconciliations using automated reconciliation systems.
- Balance subsidiary ledger systems for deposits, loans, and investments to the associated general ledger control accounts.
- Research, track, and resolve all out-of-balance conditions and work with appropriate bank personnel to resolve differences.
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) and 3-5 years accounting experience.
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in accounting, finance, or similar discipline from four-year College or University is preferred.
- Keyboarding and 10-key skills are essential.
- Computer experience with Internet, MS Word, and MS Excel.
- Good reasoning ability and understanding of basic accounting concepts.
- Ability to communicate effectively by phone and email.
