This role will play a crucial part in the conception, planning, development, and execution of game presentation elements and other events for the Detroit Red Wings and Ilitch Sports + Entertainment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with department staff to generate new ideas for in-game features and experiences that enhance the game presentation and make it an industry-leading experience.
  • Work closely with game day crew and full-time staff to ensure production standards are met.
  • Load content into equipment needed for events.
  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of DRW secondary events such as viewing parties, college hockey events, college basketball events, etc.
  • Contribute unique and strategic ideas to enhance various theme nights.
  • Perform all other duties and responsibilities of the Game Presentation department as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Highly organized, strongly self-motivated, and the ability to multi-task activities.
  • Strong decision-making, problem-resolution, and creative thinking skills.
  • Experience in a prior role or similar field is a plus.
  • Ability and willingness to work long and unpredictable hours on weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Interest and some experience of sports entertainment and production equipment.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite preferred with an emphasis on Premiere Pro and AfterEffects.

Working Conditions:

  • Frequent visual/auditory attention.
  • Exposure to high noise levels.
  • Irregular and extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
