Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Architect to join our team at Quinn Evans. As a key member of our architectural team, you will be responsible for leading a variety of projects across cultural, learning, and heritage practice areas, involving both new construction and adaptive use renovations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Technical Development: Collaborate with project team members and principals to develop articulate and technically strong project documents, ensuring quality projects that meet design intent and project scope, schedule, and cost requirements.
  • Project Coordination: Work closely with consultants to ensure integrated project documents that support project design and performance goals.
  • Research and Innovation: Conduct research to support creative and innovative solutions to project challenges, staying up-to-date with evolving building technology, materials, and products.
  • Construction Administration: Perform construction administration duties, including review of shop drawings, product data, and material samples for conformance with design intent, response to RFIs, and review of pay applications and change orders.
  • Client and Stakeholder Management: Maintain contact with clients, consultants, and contractors during all project phases, participating in marketing, client, and owner presentations as required.
  • Mentorship and Guidance: Provide mentorship and guidance to other design and intern staff.
Requirements:
  • Professional Degree: Registered Architect Professional degree in Architecture with a minimum of 8 years of experience.
  • Experience: Experience with Housing/Mixed Use projects is preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills in design, graphics, and presentation, demonstrated leadership and experience working in project team environments, experience participating and presenting in client meetings and sub-consultant coordination, proficient with Revit, experience with Newforma and MS Teams a plus.
  • Credentials: LEED credentials are a plus.
