Job Title: Customer Care Representative

Spherion of NJ is now seeking highly skilled Customer Care Representatives for in-office positions located in Woodbridge, NJ.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a dynamic service center environment. As a Customer Care Representative, you will be responsible for handling a high volume of inbound calls from customers, agents, and third parties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer questions regarding policies, coverages, and premiums, and assume ownership for thorough follow-up on all contacts.
  • Deliver first call resolution and make it easy for the customer.
  • Develop and maintain complete product knowledge of all three lines (Auto, Homeowner, and Umbrella).
  • Accurately enter and update policy information into various processing systems and handle phone inquiries.
  • Develop and foster Agent/Company Relationships.
  • Perform research and initiate changes/corrections to customer policies according to established procedures and sound business judgment.
  • Meet and/or exceed the expectations of customers and agents, providing professional and efficient service at all times through positive interactions and extensive product knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Above-average interpersonal, listening, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Good analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent computer/data entry and general math skills.
  • High energy and motivation to follow up and take ownership.
  • Flexibility and ability to work under pressure.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new functions within the Customer Solutions Center.
  • 2-3 years of customer service experience.

Shifts range from 8 am to 7 pm, including early shifts from 8 am to 4 pm or 9 am to 5 pm, and later shifts from 10 am to 6 pm or 11 am to 7 pm. There's also a rotating Saturday shift once a month or every three weeks, with reduced hours on those days.
