Senior Solutions Architect

Job Summary

Accountable for collaborating with senior technical teams to envision, strategize, design, and execute comprehensive and cohesive architectures that align with the organization's objectives.

Engages with business executives and IT specialists to facilitate the realization of the company's vision, operational processes, data management, and technological resources.

Develops documentation utilizing various architectural frameworks or perspectives that illustrate how the present and future demands of the organization will be satisfied in an efficient, sustainable, flexible, and responsive manner.

Responsible for establishing an architecture that fosters the most effective and secure IT landscape to meet organizational requirements.

Compensation Range:
$86,000 - $165,000.00

Key Responsibilities:


Ensure the synchronization of IT strategy and planning with business objectives by serving as a technical advisor, offering insights and consultation to business leaders and cross-functional colleagues on long-term initiatives necessitating enterprise-wide solutions.

Collaborate with fellow architects and engineers to deliver informed enterprise solutions that are scalable, flexible, and aligned with corporate strategy.

Assist technology leaders with innovative technology designs, artifacts, etc.
Encourage shared infrastructure and applications to minimize expenses and enhance information flow. Ensure that projects do not replicate functionalities or deviate from one another and the enterprise strategy.
Formulate policies, standards, and guidelines that govern the selection, development, implementation, and utilization of Information Technology within the organization.
Ensures adherence to relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Completes all mandatory compliance training. Maintains awareness of and complies with internal policies and procedures. Takes responsibility for staying informed about evolving regulations and policies.

Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline plus 10 years of relevant work experience OR 15 years of equivalent work experience required.

Master's degree preferred.
10 years of experience with at least 5 years in applications development, database/data warehouse/datamart, or infrastructure.
3 years of experience leading a team of senior technical professionals.
1 year of experience with model-driven development preferred.
3 years of experience in designing and constructing enterprise technology solutions.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with strong collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation abilities.
Solid understanding of relational database structures.
In-depth knowledge of technology infrastructure and its application to enterprise.
Proven ability to translate business requirements into models to identify suitable architectural solutions.
Capability to perceive how components interact with the whole; strong conceptual skills.
Extensive knowledge of IT governance and operations.
Demonstrated understanding of IT security best practices and integration with application authorization and access.
Ability to exhibit comprehensive knowledge of hardware, software, applications, and systems engineering.
Proven project and program management, planning, and organizational capabilities.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and in technical writing, to all organizational levels in a proactive and contextually appropriate manner.

Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks effectively considering risk, financial implications, and delivery expectations.
Proven capability to drive change and facilitate process improvements by influencing a diverse group of technical individuals.
Strong organizational skills.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a proven track record in applying root cause analysis.
Hands-on ability to design and construct enterprise technology solutions applying best practices with minimal disruption.
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills across all levels.
Ability to coordinate and execute cross-functionally with technical managers, business managers, subject matter experts, and clients.
Some financial analysis skills and familiarity with financial reporting tools.
Demonstrated ability to present complex information to diverse audiences.
Proven history of achieving results in challenging environments.
