Job Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Electronics Developer to join our team at Premier Staffing Solution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Embedded Software Development, with a focus on automotive electronics. Experience with RTOS, Board Support Pkgs, kernel configuration, device driver interfaces, and debugging tools is essential.

The successful candidate will also have excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Additionally, they will have experience with scripting languages (Python, shell) and electronic test equipment for debugging at the hardware level.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around $140,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain embedded software on RTOS for board bring-up, verification, and debugging of automotive electronics.
  • Collaborate with h/w and s/w architects to design and implement next gen platform architecture with various SoCs and the software stack.
  • Debug complex problems and ensure high-quality code delivery across multiple disciplines.
  • Communicate effectively with peers, stakeholders, customers, technical leaders and OEMs/ODMs.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in Embedded Software Development, with a focus on automotive electronics.
  • Strong understanding of RTOS fundamentals, Board Support Pkgs, kernel configuration, device driver interfaces, debugging tools etc.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with scripting languages (Python, shell) and electronic test equipment for debugging at the hardware level.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with embedded toolchains (compilers, linkers, linker scripts).
