Join Our Team as a Respiratory Therapist

Atrium Health Charlotte is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a strong foundation in respiratory care, including the ability to assess patients, develop treatment plans, and provide education to patients and families. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with a range of respiratory conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients with respiratory conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide respiratory care services, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Provide education to patients and families on respiratory care and disease management
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a strong foundation in respiratory care, including:

  • A degree in respiratory therapy or a related field
  • Current certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in respiratory care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
