Job Summary

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients in various settings, including hospitals and clinics. Your primary duties will include administering therapeutic procedures, conducting diagnostic tests, and maintaining and monitoring respiratory care equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer oxygen therapy and other respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Conduct diagnostic tests, such as pulmonary function tests and blood gas analysis
  • Maintain and monitor respiratory care equipment, including ventilators and oxygen concentrators
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans for patients
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in North Carolina
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • 2+ years of experience in respiratory therapy
